About The Balanced Horse
Classical training principles for creating harmony between horse and rider.

Meet Rebecca
Rebecca is the founder of The Balanced Horse — a teacher, trainer, certified Smart Saddle fitter, and trainee BD judge. She holds her Enlightened Equitation Teaching Certificate (French classical school), alongside an Advanced Diploma in Riding, Horse Care and Stable Management.
Her work is guided by classical principles and correct biomechanics, supported by ongoing CPD to ensure her knowledge remains current, scientific and evidence-based.
With a strong interest in rehabilitation and long-term soundness, Rebecca blends therapeutic understanding with classical education.
Her philosophy is simple: to train with kindness, to listen to the horse and to work in partnership rather than opposition. Working with the horse as an individual within their capabilities.
She believes in harmony over force, clarity over pressure, and that true balance begins from within. For Rebecca, dressage exists for the horse — never the horse for dressage.
